Social Media Content
Social media is an incredible tool to promote and showcase your skills and products online. Creating engaging and eye catching content is one of the best ways to catch the attention of different users of all ages and demographic. Below are some examples of previous work I have undertaken from creating social media stories, reels and posts, as well as creating content calendars.
Walter Gregor: Tonic Water
Local to Aberdeenshire, Walter Gregor produces some of the finest tonic water which adds the perfect amount of bubble to and spirts. All products and ingredients are all locally sourced.
The client Walter Gregor wished to increase organic traffic to their website and social media platforms. The main challenge was to boost the sales of the tonic subscription boxes. The strategy was to create on-trend social media reels and stories to showcase the latest products, and partner up with other local spirit businesses to come up with a giveaway. This would also help to entice local food influencers to try out the different tonics.
The latest flavour to be promoted was the PUMPKIN SPICE tonic water.
Other Products
Showcasing different products the client offers through social media animated posts. This concept was to show social media users what the different unique tonics can be used for. In this case it highlights different cocktails that match the flavours of the tonics.
Greyhope Bay Café is run by a local charity that opened in the Spring of 2022. Its aim is to look after and protects Aberdeen’s coastline. Aberdeen’s top dolphin watching vegan café offers more then just coffee, though. They offer many classics from arts and crafts with recycled materials to yoga. There is something for all the family to enjoy!
The objective was to assist the client in creating an itinerary for the grand open of the vegan café. This was done by aiming to boost social media engagement through creating various forms of social media content that would showcase different events, as well as creating PR content for the grand opening. Keeping with the light hearted and playful nature of the business, bold colours and quirky designs were created.
Greyhope Bay
This PR concept was centered around a storytelling campaign that would put the spotlight on the customers’ own stories. The content was planned to be put out through online channels, radio and news articles in order to engage with the public in the local area. Sharing the rich history of the Torry Battery and the roles it has played throughout our history.
STAXX Aberdeen
STAXX is a creative social market which provides affordable and low risk business opportunities for local businesses. The aim was to create both traditional and digital advertising content to get the word of STAXX out around Aberdeen. Creating a 28 second advert for screens was a great opportunity to delve into storyboarding and using creative software such as Adobe After Effects and Premier Pro.
